We are heartbroken to share that our 18-year-old Laiana Green—lovingly known as LaiLai or Pooh—tragically drowned while trying to save her family and friends at a local river. She acted selflessly and bravely in a moment of chaos, and we are devastated by the loss.

At this time, the search continues. The bodies of Laiana and the three other girls have not yet been found, but we are holding onto hope and praying for their return so that their families can have the closure they deserve.

Laiana’s mother and the family are asking for your help during this unimaginable time. This GoFundMe has been created to raise funds for the funeral and memorial services once the she is found. These funds will help cover burial costs, memorial arrangements, and to give Laiana the homegoing she deserves.
