My life has been irreversibly changed for the worse after I had an inguinal hernia mesh implanted in 2015. After 2 years of constant pain, they removed the mesh from me in 2017. Since then I have tried to work through the constant, intense pain I have been left with. My condition has degraded to the point where I am no longer able to provide for my family as a physically fit tradesman should be able to do. This has left me depressed and despondent about the situation in addition to the nearly unbearable pain in my groin.
Update:
After a year off work, I attempted to return to my old career as an iron worker. Unfortunately, I've not had any improvement in my condition, and after a month of gradual increase in my pain, I've been forced to take a medical layoff with no hope of employment insurance etc.
Any financial help is greatly appreciated.
