A Black Empowerment Manifesto (BEM) (2020 - 2050)

Greetings!

REFERENCE: “A BLACK EMPOWERMENT MANIFESTO” ―A COGENT CALL–TO–ACTION!

I am raising funds to create a web portal on an existing website to commission the BEM project, including hiring a student with some research and social media skills to assist in the initial launch of the manifesto. Make the BEM portal available to the community to research, study, and implement the 15 Innovative Strategies to attain, sustain, and maintain black empowerment on a 30 years horizon (2020 ―2050) to empower the next generation. Present progress report(s) each Black History Month (BHM).

The BEM is not exclusive to blacks. It speaks to the empowerment of people, with the primary focus being black empowerment. The following are some details of the proposed Go Fund Me Campaign Donation Expenditure Narrative for “A Black Empowerment Manifesto” (BEM). An Internet link A Black Empowerment Manifesto is available for non-readers and the convenience of people's preferences.

Here are eight Go Fund Me Funding Objectives:

1. Hire a Web-Developer to integrate an interactive BEM web portal with an existing website to create an interactive platform for the BEM, including the applicable Social Media Platforms. Prepare a Media and Community News Release. Share the cost for web hosting, Internet website security, monthly updating, and maintenance of the BEM website.

2. Create an Audiobook of the manifesto for non-readers and the convenience of people's preferences.

3. Hire a student for 6 – 8 weeks (subject to a successful Go Fund Me Campaign) to support research and development, and monitor the BEM website and the social media platform(s). Research contacts, prepare correspondence, photocopying, emailing, postal mailing, making calls, managing scheduling activities, and making recommendations for linking to organizations and institutions.

4. Conduct an ongoing review of the first Official Release (Revision 003) of the BEM to grow and restructure it. Conduct ongoing analysis into the specific narratives of the 15 Innovative Strategies and practical infrastructure elements as warranted by the community (inclusive). Update the BEM using appendices to maintain the integrity of the original release.

5. Consult with a research group to build a framework of business assessment tools. Deploy the tools across segments of the black business community and other minority communities. Gather and analyze the data on service delivery and client care. Develop the parameters to create a Black Business Client Care Certification (BBCCC) program as an international signature of client care professionals.

6. Consult with the Ontario Courts of Justice and governmental and Ontario Financial and Security Agencies to mine statistics on client complaints adjudications. Search for such parameters as the type and size of the business and service offerings most prevalent in violations. Consult with college and universities, and other certification bodies to understand and engage in validation processes for the BBCCPC. Model the program locally, and create the infrastructure to expand the program internationally (Reference: BEM Innovative Suggestion Number 005, p. 31).

7. Conduct an ongoing review of the other 14 Innovative Suggestions to support the Black History Month (BHM) objectives of organizations, institutions, groups, and individuals. These activities include (not all-inclusive) reports, business plans, position papers, statistics, tables, figures, and guidelines and procedures. Support travel to potential meeting sites such as churches, organizations, institutions (individuals, groups, schools, colleges, and universities) as required.

8. Develop further, the 10 – 12 weeks ―Youth Leadership and Mentoring Training Program deployed in previous years. Make it accessible on the BEM website to individuals, groups, churches, organizations, and institutions. This document is essential for students to gain a rudimentary understanding of the “industrial world” beyond post-secondary school and university graduation. Maintain accessibility to deliver training as required.

Note: The achievement of these seven Go Fund Me Funding Objectives will depend on the support and cooperation of the black community, including the clergy, academics, scholars, doctors, scientists, professors, fellows, researchers, engineers, architects, educators, intellects, philosophers, writers, politicians, managers, financiers, entrepreneurs, tradespersons, social workers, community advocates, and students.
