A Birthday Wish for Teagan’s Education

Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters

My name is Brittany, and I’m a proud autism mama to my sweet and spirited little boy, Teagan. Both of us are May babies, and this year, for our birthdays, we’re doing something a little different — something from the heart. Instead of gifts, we’re hoping to raise funds to support Teagan’s education and therapies that have been life-changing but come with a growing financial burden.

Over the past year, we made the hard decision to pull Teagan out of the traditional school system after struggling with unmet needs and emotional challenges that were making each day harder for him. We’ve been homeschooling ever since, which has opened the door for more flexibility, peace, and progress — but also means we’re fully responsible for all materials, curriculum, and resources.

In addition to homeschooling, we’ve been taking Teagan to an amazing integrated therapy program that combines behavioral, occupational, and speech support in a way that truly works for him. Unfortunately, it’s not covered by our insurance — and neither is the homeschool co-op we recently joined, which is helping him build social skills and confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

The progress we’ve made this year has been incredible. Teagan is smiling more, learning at his own pace, and beginning to thrive in ways we hadn’t seen before. As his mom, I want nothing more than to keep that momentum going — but the reality is, we’re at a point where we need help to do that.

So, for our birthdays this May, we’re asking for your support. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Teagan’s continued education and therapies. Your kindness will help us pay for therapy sessions, curriculum, co-op fees, and educational tools to keep nurturing the beautiful progress Teagan is making.
