A Birthday Donation for INDEPENDENCE on Wheels

To the beautiful Soul who is reading this....

Hello! I'm Angela and my family and friends call me Ange! As some may know I was in a horrific car accident 22 years ago 1 week before 9/11 transporting me into the realm of the paralyzed rendering me a C4 C5 Quadriplegic. What that means is I shattered my vertebrates and severed my spinal cord... IF you lay me down I'm unable to sit up or roll over by myself and yes I need assistance with bathing, dressing, eating and so forth. BUT I always say, "Once you put me in my wheelchair I Can Roll Da World!"

Which leads us to the juicy part of the story. At this very moment it's 1:38 AM and as usual I lay awake feeling the pins and needles all throughout my stomach running down my legs as I'm on my back typing with my nose about this GoFund. Yep and Ohhhh it's my birthday today! Something nudge me and said, "Go ahead, just do it... create a GoFund and manifest the wheelchair!"

Last year in April I went to Thailand and returning back as friends had warned me Qatar Airlines had demolished my wheelchair. When I opened the bubble wrap my Spinergy ZX1 was in pieces! It looked like a Lego kit on Christmas morning. The sad part Qatar ignored all my emails, calls and did NOTHING. I reached out to America Airlines who was affiliated with Qatar and 11 months later I waited for my device.

While I was waiting for my chair to be fixed I was connected with Sherman Oaks rental and they loaned me a power chair through AA. Funny thing a year prior I attempted to get a new power chair from Medicare in all of my 22 years of being paralyzed and because I don't have a secondary insurance I would've had to still pay 12,000 in copay. Forget about it.

I guess accidents do happen for a reason because I was able to "test drive" this incredible rental chair. The point of the story, I fell in love with the chair because of the unbelievable INDEPENDENCE I gained.

First off I can roll ANYWHERE alone and not worry about getting stuck on curbs or go over a broken sidewalk let alone plow right through grassy areas where ramps are non-existent! My caregivers don't have to transfer me out of the chair EVERY time I have to catherize. I'm able to wash my hair in the wheelchair by tilting all the way back to reach the sink. I can go into ANY restaurant and no matter how high or low the tables are I can sit at eye level with everyone at the table. I'm able to do my own pressure releases by tilting back and forth on my own. There are so MANY wonderful things about this wheelchair that the list goes for days but one of the MOST POWERFUL perks of the chair that NO WORDS can describe is being able to extend the chair all the way UP to give HUGS to all my loved ones and yes strangers! Nothing beats that especially if you are a hugger!!! Do you agree?

I asked the company how much they could sell me the power chair since it gives me Independence like no other and they gave me a break of $3000. If I pay 2,500 cash and the extra is for a new battery and maintenance. I visualize if I can reach at least 350 or more supporters gifting as little as $5 to $10 or even SHARING this I can manifest my goal!!! So TODAY on March 15 at 3:15 AM I'm humbly reaching out with my heart and soul for a lil' birthday donation with love. ✨✨
