A birthday request for help

Hi friends,

First of all thank you for reading this, I honestly feel so silly, but as a wise friend put it: If GoFundMe is the only way to get through life in this dystopian shit-hole country then so be it. So here I am.

Last Fall I began getting serious help for a year and a half long battle with severe depression. Before the help, I was unable to function the way I needed, to survive financially. I found myself behind on all my bills. Thankfully I am doing so much better, I am able to function, I sleep a normal amount and I am able to work. Even though I am working, I am still struggling to get caught up...that's when the catalyst to this GoFundMe occurred. Last week, after my paycheck came through I noticed a third of my account was gone. I called my bank and found out that my bank account had been garnished due to a bill I was unable to pay. The debtor sued me, and won, and was given permission to remove the money from my account. Now they are coming after my wages.

I have spoken with an attorney and we have decided my best option in to file bankruptcy. However, he cannot stop any further garnishments from happening until I have the money to pay for the attorney and to file the papers with the court, which is $1900. With my accounts and pay being garnished (they will take 25% of my pay and any amount over $500 in my bank account), and my bills already behind, paying this fee is almost impossible, yet it's necessary.

For my birthday I am asking for help with the attorney fees and to get caught up on my car and my portion of the utilities. If you can help that would be amazing and I would be forever grateful. If you can't help because you are in the same boat, I understand and still appreciate you (also, call me and we will get a drink...a super cheap one).
