A Birthday Miracle: Help Brittany Recover

Hi my name is Brittany ;

and on 9/20 I was driving to go see my boyfriend for my birthday weekend .

we have a long distance relationship so we drive back and fourth as much as we can To see each other .

this weekend has been the worst birthday surprise ever , as I’m driving to go see my bf my car started having issues , I had to get it towed and taken to a mechanic , as I was stranded on the side of the road . I spent 9 hours dealing with my car crying , finally at the end of the day ,I found out my car engine was failing . And it was going to cost. 10k to fix , I don’t have that kind of money nor do I have , new car money , I bought this car in 2018 it’s a used 2017 hyuandai accent , so I feel like this is just the worst birthday surprise ever . I feel like the world just shitted on me ,

im not asking for a lot , just some kind of help to help me get back on my feet to help get a new car , or a down payment . This all happened 2 hours from my home . And my friend had to drive two hours just to come and get me .

any help is appreciated as I’m wishing for a miracle at this point and hoping I can get this all fixed soon .

update , car is still in Olympia at the shop , going to tomorrow hopefully to take pics and possibly get a trade in quote for it .

boyfriends back up car has transmission issues , so my back up car is even out of commission . This has happened to us in the last month with both cars . So anything helps us while we figure this out . Since our transportation is very limited. also considering we live over an hour from each other as well . It’s hard to just rely on him for full support , even though he has gone above and beyond to try and help me .
