Medical & Dental Care for Kathleen

Hi. I'm Valerie. If you have a moment, I'd like to talk to you about my friend and possibly yours, multimedia artist, consummate meme queen, Tropigoth goddess, and tender-hearted animal lover, Kathleen Sullivan (née Gary) or Kathleen Súileabháin as many of you may know her.

Kathleen is in desperate need of our help.

However you may have been introduced to her, or even if you have not yet met her, you may share her passion for fine art, fascinating books, and exquisite taste in curious objects from antiquity. If you know her like I do, or by chance have the pleasure of meeting her, she will surely make a permanent impact on your life in one way or another. She is a true icon in her own right and deserves so much better than her current situation.

At this juncture, some of you already know that our friend Kathleen is completely and permanently disabled due to multiple unfortunate difficulties of the physical body and delicate mind that have attacked her to her very core over the past decade+ of her life. At this time she is in dire need of many basic needs in terms of maintaining a normal and comfortable daily human existence. She is alone with mobility challenges, no means of easy access to transportation, and has no local friends or proper support system in place.

As you read this, I am working on getting her monstrous student loans forgiven as the lenders are and have been garnishing her SSDI benefits for years, making it difficult to cover the costs of basic necessities like food and medications that she obviously can not go without- including three different kinds of insulin. At the same time, there are upcoming surgeries - from the complex oral surgery deemed urgently necessary by physicians while treating her the ICU for additional complications, to the inevitable procedure required to stabilize her spine due to advanced degenerative disc disease. Without these treatments she could eventually become septic from the oral infection and/or become completely bedridden as her spine deteriorates, all whilst alone with no caregiver.

Please join me on my quest to provide her with funds for much needed surgeries, medications, mobility equipment, basic home furnishings, and other essential to make her waking life more bearable as she navigates her constant oppressive obstacles. Anything you can spare is much appreciated and blessings to all who are able to help out in this time of desperate need.
