A Better Life for Baby Bakovic

Donation protected
Hello All:
Many of you already know me. My name is Alejandra Lujan. I wanted to reach out to you today regarding the beginning of a great struggle that God and life has presented to us only recently last week.
My little sister, Annelisse (Anne), is in the 5th month of her second pregnancy waiting for her second child.
Anne was unable to get pregnant without having to undergo many years of fertility treatments, hormonal treatments, and many more. Until today, Anne had to be very strong and face months of hope, suffering and disappointment until she was finally able to get pregnant with her first baby, Drago and now baby number two.
Last Friday, September 10, while they performed an ultrasound, they gave my sister and brother-in-law the news that any parent is afraid to hear. The news when the doctor tells you that the baby did not form well in the womb and that his legs and feet have malformations and that the baby will need to have surgery only hours after birth. The truth is that the exact severity of the malformation is not known, but what we do know is that we have to be ready.
Unfortunately to this day we could not find any surgeon who can care for and treat my nephew in Bolivia. My country still does not have the medical experience or the technology necessary to treat cases like this in newborns. So my sister will have to travel abroad to give birth in a place that can take care of her and the baby.
This is why I need your help. I need to raise funds so that Anne can have the baby in a place where the technology and medical knowledge necessary to give the baby a normal and trouble-free future exist.
Having the baby abroad not only involves medical expenses but also expenses of living for several months in a place away from home. Abroad my sister is forced to rent a place to live, to cover for food and renting a vehicle to get to and from the hospital. We are waiting from different hospitals in different countries to be able to decide which is the best option.
Santiago de Chile was the first hospital and medical team that gave us an answer and an approximate budget of the time and costs of the
Surgery and treatment. The time to consider is 6 to 8 months that would last the first stage between surgery, medical visits and physical therapy, having a cost of more or less than $60,000 American dollars, without counting housing expenses.
It is for this reason that I ask you with my heart in hand for your help by donating to this cause that is so important to our lives. Since as a sister to Anne and mother myself to three children, all I want is for my nephew to be healthy, have a good treatment and my sister have a little peace in her life by having good options to give birth and to take care of the baby in the best possible way.
Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts.
