Hi Everyone,

We are the parents behind the Hockliffe School Association, supporting Hockliffe Lower School, a small village school at the heart of our local community.

Like many small village schools, funding can be limited, and there isn’t always enough financial support available to provide all the improvements we’d love to see for our children. That’s why we’re coming together as parents and a school community to raise money and make a positive difference to our children’s learning environment.

Our aim is to help transform the learning environments at Hockliffe Lower School, making Willow, Rowan and Maple classes more flexible, comfortable and inspiring places for our children to learn, play and grow.

Our children deserve classrooms where they can explore their interests, develop confidence and enjoy learning in an environment that supports their needs. To make this happen, we’re hoping to raise up to £10,000 to help update all three classrooms with new tables and chairs, flexible learning spaces, storage solutions and other improvements to create more practical and engaging learning environments.

These improvements will help create calmer, more organised classrooms, encourage independence and creativity, and give teachers more opportunities to support children in their learning.

To help us reach our goal, on 10 January, our children and parents will be taking part in a charity walk from The Harvester Hockliffe to The Queen’s Head pub in Tebworth. It will be a fantastic opportunity for our school community to come together, have fun and raise money for a great cause, with prizes adding to the excitement!

Every pound raised will help us invest in our school and give our children the best possible environment to learn and grow. Our vision is to make a positive difference across Willow, Rowan and Maple classes, ensuring more children can benefit from brighter, better-equipped spaces where they can learn, play and thrive.

If we raise enough to cover the classroom improvements, any remaining funds will go towards updating the school playground, helping to create an even better environment for the children to enjoy during their time at school.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing our page with friends and family would mean just as much.
