A Bench Memorial for Lilly Hansen

Dear friends and family,

 

My name is Loan and I am best friends with Lilly Hansen's daughters: Kerri and Michelle Hansen. We have lost someone truly so special to all of us. Lilly was a very caring, giving mother and friend. She was always very friendly and would go out of her way to help whenever she was needed. To many of Kerri and Michelle's friends, she was like a second mother to us. Lilly was an incredible grandmother to 5 wonderful grandchildren and Martin's best friend, wife and love of his life.

 

On behalf of myself and all of you, I'd like us to honor Lilly Hansen with a memorial bench in Dovercourt Park. Dovercourt is the community that Lilly has deep roots in and with the bench facing the park, perhaps she can watch over her grandchildren when they play as they visit their granddad. The plaque cost is $2,500 and will be installed when the snow has melted (City of Edmonton says after May).

 

Once the plaque is installed, I plan on gathering the Hansen family there to surprise them! I hope everyone can help out and THANK YOU for your support!
