A BENCH IN MEMORY OF SHABBIR JAFFERALI

When a beloved Lancing Pharmacist Mr Shabbir Jafferali passed away in July of this year, there was an outpouring of grief.

Mr Jafferali was for over 50 years the owner & Pharmacist of Wilmshurst Pharmacy in Crabtree Lane, Lancing.

He was awarded the Prestigious British Citizen Award at the Palace of Westminster in January and last year was awarded the Community Award for Business of the year by Lancing Parish. Presented by Chairman Mike Mendoza.

A lasting tribute to this wonderful man is the have a memorial bench and plaque in the park opposite the Pharmacy and a further plaque inside the Parish Hall.
