In Loving Memory of Giselle Johnson.
We are heartbroken to share that our dear friend Giselle has passed away on July 29, 2025. She touched so many lives with her kindness, strength, and light, and we want to honor her in a way that continues to reflect the love she gave to the world.
Our first goal is to dedicate a memorial bench in Central Park in her name — a place where her friends, family, and all who loved her can sit, reflect, and feel connected to her spirit in the heart of the city she loved. Once the bench is placed, we will be holding a celebration in her honor at the site, so that everyone who loved her can come together, share memories, and continue to feel her presence with us.
After this goal is met, we hope to continue her legacy by funding clean water wells in villages in Africa. Access to clean water is life-changing, and we believe this is something that can be done to honor Giselle.
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to creating something lasting in her honor. Your support means the world to us, and more importantly, it ensures that Giselle’s memory continues to inspire love, connection, and hope far beyond us.

- the people throwing this fundraiser some of us have been connected to Giselle for over 10 years. She was our best friend, we spoke to her everyday and made sure to each other if not several times in a week a few times in a month. We miss her very dearly and these funds will be used for the bench in her honor and ONLY that. The bench is 20k and the remaining balance we would like to give as a donation for someone who has lost a daughter and dear friend and help them with donating the leftover from the 20k for them.
