A Bench for Debbie in Verona Park

The world lost a ray of light when Debbie Galife passed away on March 10, 2023. Debbie was a creator of many beautiful things - her beloved children and grandchildren, a warm home, a successful business (Main Street Cottage), countless delicious meals and gatherings - and last but not least - her lovely garden.

Friends of Debbie and her family are hoping to raise $1,000 to "adopt" a park bench for her in Verona, NJ, her hometown of 62 years. Along with the purchase of the plaque, the funds will go towards maintenance and improvements of Essex County Parks. Gardening was one of Debbie's passions, and it only seems fitting to memorialize her in a sprawling outdoor space full of natural beauty, life and laughter.
