A Bench for Billy by the Beach
Donation protected
Our brother, Billy Summerhayes,
a true original, passed away suddenly at 55 in November, 2018. He loved the Beatles, banging on drums and the beach. And he loved his adopted town of Point Lookout. It is in this seashore town that we would like to place a bench where people can relax, perhaps on a hot summer day or during a beautiful sunset and think of Billy. Billy’s sisters Lori Summerhayes and Beth Summerhayes started this campaign because Billy’s ashes will be scattered in the sea, but it would be nice to have a place where people would see Billy’s name and wonder who he was on this earth. And we know that people would like to be a part of its creation!
