Hello everyone,
It pains me to write this right now, but our family is enduring a very sad and sudden loss. My brother Aaron Abarca has suddenly passed away on the morning of July 27th.
This comes as devastating news, and shook our entire family to our core. The loss is compounded by the fact that no saw this coming or is even prepared for this. But how can you? One day a loved one is around, the next, they become angels.
Aaron was my first best friend. We didn’t see eye to eye on many things, but he was a great brother and a great son. I remember playing yu-gi-oh with him when I was a wee lad (an absurdly annoying 6 year old) but he still took the time to play with me and be a good brother. Yes he beat me up from time to time too but that’s what older brothers do, they prepare you for the future bullies of the world and are there for you when you need it.
He was the pure definition of an introvert. Barely spoke unless spoken too, but when you got him talking. He did NOT stop. An animal lover to the core, he was our gentle pain-in-the-ass, but always meant well. The only solace I can find at this incredibly difficult time, is the fact that he is up there with Mamita Luisa and his beloved Archie.
He is survived by his 3 brothers (myself, Jose Abarca-Gomero, and Moises Abarca-Gomero) and his parents Rosario Gomero-Zorrilla and Rodrigo Barboza. Any amount donated helps tremendously, thank you for listening and reading.
There will be a memorial service on Friday, August 1st 2025 at Bridgewater Funeral Home (707 E Main st. Bridgewater NJ 08807) starting at 9am. Funeral service will start at 1130 with burial to follow at Bound Brook Cemetery. Please feel free to join us ️❤️
