Update from the husband

Hi ladies — Felipe here, your unofficial correspondent from Anatomy of Maria HQ.

As you know, Maria is recovering like the absolute legend she is after her heart surgery. But London decided to throw in an extra challenge: a heatwave. And if there’s one thing this true Siberian woman can’t stand, it’s being hot — unless we’re talking career advice, then she’s on fire

So here’s the thing.

Maria has been dreaming (or more accurately, not dreaming because she hasn’t slept properly in 6 years) of this magical bed — the Eight Sleep Pod. It’s like a spaceship for sleep: it cools you down, tracks your sleep, and basically tucks you in with science.

She’s mentioned it so many times that I’ve officially stopped counting. After babies, burnout, and now heart surgery — I can’t think of a better gift to help her heal, rest, and finally get the 8 hours of sleep she prescribes to everyone else but never gets herself.
