A Beautiful Group Project for our friend JT

We're here to come alongside our friend Jeanette Thomas (JT) in light of her recent cancer diagnosis.

Several years ago, when JT and I (Jenna) had been introduced, but before we knew each other well, I bumped into JT at a coffee shop. Later, I told the friend who introduced us that I had “randomly" seen JT.

“Seeing JT is never random,” my friend responded.

As my friendship and working collaboration with JT has grown, I understand what my friend meant. To know JT is to know the profound gift she has for meeting others with her presence at just the right time, in just the right ways. She is quick to show up alongside others with encouragement, wisdom, or a listening ear.

Now, all of us have the chance to come alongside JT, as part of a “beautiful group project .”

JT was diagnosed with breast cancer in March and started treatment shortly after. Her suggested medical plan will span the course of 18+ months, including chemo, surgery, and post-surgery treatment.

JT is a small business owner in her second full year. When JT launched her business, she opted for a health share plan, which will provide significant financial coverage, but won’t cover all the costs of treatment – nor will it support JT in the real limitations of energy, time, and working capacity.

So we are raising funds to help with: 1) treatment expenses and 2) income replacement. No gift is too small!
