Our family is currently facing a heartbreak we never could have prepared for. For some time now, my mom’s spouse (Teresa Garcia) has been bravely battling Pulmonary Fibrosis. While we knew the road was difficult, we never expected to reach the end of it so abruptly.
Just a few days ago, things took a sudden and devastating turn. Tere was placed into an induced coma, and we have been given the news that there is no hope for survival. In a matter of 48 hours, our lives have been turned upside down.
Anyone who knew Tere knows she was the absolute life of the party. She was outgoing, caring, and had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and included. But if you really wanted to see her spirit shine, you just had to put a set of dominoes in front of her. She was fiercely competitive, full of fire, and loved the game as much as she loved her family. To go from that vibrant, fun-loving energy to this quiet goodbye has left a hole in our hearts that we can’t yet describe.
Because of how fast this has happened, we are left trying to navigate the enormous weight of funeral and burial arrangements while still in shock. We want to give Tere a farewell that matches the beauty and energy she brought into this world.

Nuestra familia enfrenta actualmente un dolor para el cual nunca pudimos habernos preparado.
