It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved son, brother, nephew , father and friend, Rodney Damon Black Jr. Rodney was a loving, and vibrant soul who meant so much to everyone who knew him. His presence brought laughter, strength, and love to our family and community, and his loss has left a deep void in all of our hearts.

During this incredibly difficult time, our family is asking for help to give Rodney the beautiful and respectful homegoing service that he deserves. Unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses is more than our family can manage alone.

We have created this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of Rodney’s funeral service, and other memorial expenses. Any contribution—no matter how small—will help ease the financial stress on our family so we can focus on honoring Rodney’s life and grieving together.
