- Hi, my name is Andy.it is with immense heartbreak that we share the sudden loss of our beloved father, Anniediabasi Dickinson Obot Sr.,who passed away on February 22 2026. We are shocked and devastated by this enormous loss . Many would describe our father as an intelligent businessman Kindhearted ,hardworking, loving, giving and a devoted Christian that ensured those around him was happy and safe . Simply a good person. He was born before the formation of Nigeria as a country and from a young age had a curiosity and love for knowledge which granted him the greatest opportunity to study abroad in the United States. That opportunity ultimately allowed him to become a businessman and provide his family with his version of the American dream .Since we were children he often told us to put our trust in God and with the right knowledge and a little "elbow grease" ,anyone can accomplish their goals here in United States. His great admiration and love for the United States was not only reflected in his years of community service. But he proudly wore her colors: Navy blue suit, white shirt, red tie and the American flag pinned on his chest to every important function and celebration. Later in his life he became a Christian pastor, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to those imprisoned and impoverished . He later joined the Holiness Revival Prophetic Ministry church located in Abuja, Nigeria as their Global field missionary pastor. There he gave sermons , held overnight prayer Revivals , baptism and participated in fundraising events for widows and or orphans. His suddenoss was not only devastating to his family here in America, but also the community he serviced in Abuja, Nigeria. we are seeking funds to help bring our father's remains with necessary care and respect back to Texas from Abuja, Nigeria for his final rest . Funds will be used to cover cost of legal documents, Nigeria and Texas funeral cost , including proper preparation of his remains in accordance with international law and CDC guidelines, as well as international and US transportation. Any contribution, no matter the size , will help during this incredibly difficult time. We also are accepting legal advice regarding international burial and would like to speak with anyone that has connections with US Embassy Nigeria. We appreciate whatever you can give .
