It is with shattered hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of our dear friend, Hector. He was a vibrant, kind-hearted soul who was taken from us far too soon. Many of you knew him as a dedicated cook at Meta, where he poured his heart into every meal. He took immense pride in his craft, always striving to prepare the very best for his guests with a work ethic that inspired everyone in the kitchen. He passed away peacefully in his sleep, and while we are still waiting for answers regarding the cause, we are focused on honoring the legacy of the hardworking, talented young man he was. Beyond his professional life, Hector was the primary pillar of support for his mother. He was deeply dedicated to her care, and his passing leaves her not only with a broken heart but with an overwhelming amount of responsibility to manage on her own. We want to give him the beautiful farewell he deserves and, more importantly, provide a safety net for his mother during this impossible transition.
