Let me tell you about my DAD, Douglas John Menck.

My dad was a great person and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. That’s the kind of person he was, and he didn’t have to be. He was in and out of hospitals since the age of 4, from being diagnosed with a blood disease and kidney failure to having multiple heart attacks (4) and strokes. He never gave up and always had a smile on his face. He was not always the best to get along with at times, but he would make sure you had what you needed at all times. He loved his granddaughter with a passion and adored his daughter-in-law and loved her as if she was his own daughter. The amount of respect this man gave to them is phenomenal. He unfortunately lost his mother about a year ago to her fight with Alzheimer’s and pulled through along with his two brothers. He loved his entire family and would do anything for them no matter what it was. If he could do it, he would. My dad’s time was unfortunately up, and he had to move on to be with his family in heaven to take care of him. We are extremely sad and believe he was taken too soon but also understand that he has no more pain, no more suffering, and nothing but love to look forward to.

Please help me give this amazing father the most amazing funeral that he deserves. We would all appreciate it so much and have faith that he will have an amazing service.
