My name is Jayme Pietrafeso and I am writing this with a heavy heart on behalf of my best friend, Jake Burks On February 7th 2026 their world was shattered when their beautiful daughter, Sophia Burks was tragically taken from us in an accidental shooting.

Sophia was a 10 years old she was a bright light who loved dancing, her favorite stuffed animal, and playing outside. She had a smile that could light up any room and a spirit that will never be forgotten.

As Jake’s Family navigate this unimaginable grief, the last thing they should have to worry about is the sudden and overwhelming cost of a funeral and other final expenses. We are reaching out to our community to ask for your support in giving Sophia the beautiful farewell she deserves.
