I am starting this GoFundMe for my niece Brittany Smith. She was diagnosed at age 7 with a brain tumor (Medulloblastoma). After surgery, she was left mentally and physically disabled. We were told that she may only live to 30 years old. By the grace of God, she celebrated her 40th birthday last week. Brittany is definitely a fighter. Over the last five years, she has had two strokes, two TIAs, and eight brain meningiomas.

In July, she was diagnosed with glioblastoma. She had surgery to remove the tumor but needed four additional surgeries due to complications.

Brittany is not strong enough for chemo and radiation. The doctors gave her 3 to 4 months to live; it's been four months now. She is currently on hospice.

Unfortunately, there is no life insurance. We would love to give Brittany the funeral that she wants.

We never thought this day would come as soon as it has; she was doing well for quite some time. We actually thought she might outlive her mom (Kimberly Etheridge).
