Hello everyone.
My dear friend Kenia Cubias and her sister Emely recently lost their father, Jose Cubias, due to COVID-19. This loss came unexpectedly and their family is going through tremendous heartbreak, especially with the holidays around the corner. He was only 60 years old.
I’m hoping to help the Cubias family raise enough money so they can afford the funeral expenses, but also commemorate their father in the beautiful and honorable way that he deserves. But I need your help. Please donate any money you can spare during this difficult time to help cover the medical and funeral costs. The financial impact alone will be a significant burden if his two young daughters incur the costs on their own.
Jose Cubias was a sweet, light-hearted good man who dedicated himself to taking great care of his wife and two daughters. 32 years ago, he fled a civil war in El Salvador to give his wife a better life. He hustled to make ends meet and to provide a chance at the American Dream when life blessed him with two daughters. As a result of his sacrifices and character, his daughters Kenia and Emely grew to become smart, independent, hardworking, kind, loving, and generous people. He was a gentle man of few words, but always lived his life with strong values of grace and love. He was always willing to offer a helping hand to fix a car and would never hesitate to give the last dollars and change in his pocket to a stranger in need. He liked practical jokes, telling funny stories, watching animal videos, flying kites, and being with his family.
We are so sad and heartbroken to see him go. Jose Cubias will be deeply missed.
Rest In Peace.
