A Beatle-esque Cry (ABC)
When I find myself in times of trouble….speaking words of wisdom…let it be.
Let it be a time of hope, kindness, and generosity.
ABC has finally, and after much hand wringing, come to the crossroads of humility and need.
While we are currently closed and the staff is furloughed and on unemployment, we still have debts that must be honored but, are proving quite difficult to pay.
Rent, insurance, utilities etc. are lurking and calling and all of which are ongoing.
It is beyond humbling to be brought to this juncture to have to ask for support. In the 35 years we’ve been cooking and baking we have always devoted ourselves to being an anchor in the community by supporting the causes that we could whether it be arts programs in the schools, cakes for school auctions, supporting Teens Connect or the Women’s March, fires, floods or earthquakes ….we just didn’t count on a virus to stop us in our tracks.

And In times of trouble Mr. Rogers says ‘"look for the helpers”. I know you’re out there.
