The Rankin Family faced an unimaginable tragedy on March 4, 2025, when a catastrophic house fire took not only their home but also their beloved mother, Mrs. Flora Rankin passed away. She was a beacon of love and strength, even while battling cancer. Ms. Rankin's fiancé heroically got all three children

out of the house, but in a desperate attempt to save Mrs. Flora, he suffered severe injuries and was unable to reach her in time. The fire spread so quickly that the firefighters couldn’t arrive fast enough to help.

Now, Ms. Alexis Rankin, who was living with her mother to support her during her treatment, finds herself in a heartbreaking situation. With three children—a 5th grader, a 12th grader, and a 1-year-old—she has lost everything: their home, their belongings, and most devastatingly, their mother. Without fire insurance and unable to work while caring for her mother, Alexis is in dire need of support. They have no place to call home, no clothes, no car, and are facing an overwhelming loss.
