It is with a heavy heart that we write this message today, on behalf of the family of a a woman that has lost her battle to cancer, Rebecca (pictured on the far right). Her sister, Lourdes Medina, resident of Arcadia, (pictured on the far left) California helped her sister during her long battle to cancer. After succumbing to her illness, Rebecca, passed the first weekend of May 2020.

Rebecca leaves a 8-year old daughter behind, who has been left without parents. 

Life has completely changed for this family, and Rebecca's sister, Lourdes, who already is a mother of three (3) ADOPTED children has volunteered to become a legal guardian of her niece-- now leaving her with FOUR (4) children to raise on her own. All four children are pictured in the photo. This incredible, selfless woman in mourning, has chosen to do yet another selfless act to be there for her niece in her greatest time of need, after losing her mother. 

In the midst of a global pandemic, Lourdes has now no way to bring in income as her business has also been closed. Leaving her with no source of income and four adopted children, along with the many other expenses resulting from this unfortunate event. 

A group of her friends are creating this campaign because this woman deserves our help, now more than ever. All donations will go towards the guardianship of her niece. So that she can provide the softest transition for her niece and raise her. 

We realize a lot of people are currently facing their own challenges in this pandemic, in light of that we simply ask for your help in making a donation of ANY amount and SHARE THIS CAUSE. The goal is to at least raise $10,000 to cover the bare minimum expenses. PLEASE DONATE ANY AMOUNT TO THIS FAMILY IN NEED.
