A battered friend that deserves a hand

Hi friends and family,

I have never done a gofundme before, but we've participated in several and have seen amazing philanthropic efforts....and something told me this is our time to help coordinate for a very deserving individual. A friend who has been abused and deserted is fallen to rock bottom. She has 3 children (5,3,1) and her children's father has gone MIA. Eventually, the courts will catch up with him, but that will (realistically) be months/years. In the meantime, she sleeps on the floor and she is desperately negotiating with the landlord to avoid eviction. She works tirelessly at a daycare but only brings home $340 per week after taxes, which goes 100% to take care of her children. The icing on the cake: Her 5-year-old needs spinal surgery the first week of December, which will require her to take off work for 1 month. These 3 children deserve a Christmas (among other things), but in the spirit of the holiday season, I would like to help her have one less thing to worry about.

*For privacy reasons, I have not posted this person's name or picture of children. It is my sincerest hope that you hope and trust that this fundraiser will be ethically distributed, 100% to the deserving mother. I will verify the funds are given to the individual upon request, and if anyone that donates becomes concerned their donation is not being applied to the Mother in need, I will refund their donation immediately.
