This is Noor, a sweet and gentle young 7 year old girl from Kano, Nigeria.

A few months ago, she fell at school. At first, it seemed like nothing serious, but after a few days her leg began to hurt. That pain grew worse, and soon her life changed completely.

Her leg was found to be broken. She has already gone through three operations, but instead of healing, her condition has only worsened. Noor now suffers from a severe and painful infection, leaving her in constant pain and unable to walk like other children her age.

The hospital has told her family that unless more payments are made, they will send her home — even though she urgently needs treatment. Imagine being a child, lying in pain, knowing you can’t get the care you need simply because of money.

Noor’s only wish is to get better, to walk again, and to return to being the happy child she once was. She is so young, yet she has already endured more suffering than many of us can imagine.
