I’m David. My 6-year-old wants a PS5.
Instead of just asking for one, he decided he’s going to earn it himself. His plan is simple: make drawings, sell them, and see how far he can get.
So that’s what he’s doing.
He’s been drawing every day and picking his favorites to sell as “posters.” To be completely honest, these look exactly like you’d expect from a 6-year-old—scribbles, bold colors, and a lot of enthusiasm. This is not about polished art or trying to convince anyone otherwise.
This is about a kid setting a goal and trying to reach it through effort.
We set the goal at $1,000 to cover a basic PS5 setup (console, controller, and a game). He’s tracking his progress and seeing, in real time, what happens when you try to earn something instead of just asking for it.
If you’d like to support him, there are a few options:
* Buy one of his drawings (he’ll be very proud of that)
* Contribute a small amount
* Or just follow along as he works toward his goal
We’ll update this page as he makes progress so he can see the connection between effort and outcome.
Thanks for taking a look and being part of his first real attempt at earning something on his own.
