As I celebrate my 30th birthday, I’m asking for something that means more to me than cake or candles — I’m asking for help securing a future for the dogs who need us most.
My life has been shaped by a deep, unwavering love for animals — from the tiniest fading kitten to the biggest emaciated draft horse. I’ve spent over a decade in animal rescue, hands-on in nearly every corner of the field: neonatal care, hospice, behavioral rehab, shelter networking, foster support, and beyond. I’ve worked in veterinary medicine, providing clinical care and comfort for patients of all sizes, and I’ve stood by the misunderstood — especially those with a little extra drive, sass, and sparkle.
Red’s House Rescue Network was born out of that same fire — a dream to create a haven for working dogs like Belgian Malinois, German and Dutch Shepherds, and their high-drive mixes who often fall through the cracks. We specialize in the “pointy bities” — dogs too smart, too intense, or too much for the average home — and we work tirelessly to get them what they need: structure, training, purpose, and people who get them.
I want to build something bigger.
Something lasting.
An empire of education, advocacy, and safe landing for the dogs who rarely get a second chance.
There is so much that goes into the everyday care for these guys:
Veterinary medicine, food, kennels and housing, enrichment equipment, rehab, and transport for urgent intakes, sessions with trainers, time at the diving dock, hunt barn, etc. Community education, outreach, microchipping, food banks…
Every dollar helps a dog take the next step toward the life they deserve.
Whether you donate $5 or $500, share this campaign, or simply send love our way — thank you for being part of my 30th birthday wish. Let’s make this milestone matter.
For them.
For the drivey dogs.
For the future we’re building — together.
