Hi, my name is Yagya. I am a 22 year old University student. On March 18th, I received the life changing news that I have been diagnosed with Stage IV Classical Hodgkins Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer.

While this diagnosis is overwhelming, I remain confident in science, in my doctors, in myself and most importantly in god. I am determined that I will overcome it and reach full remission. My focus now is on undergoing chemotherapy and fighting this with everything I have.

Unfortunately, this journey comes with significant financial challenges. As an international student, I have always dedicated my earnings towards my education, leaving me with little to no savings. During treatment, I will be extremely limited, maybe even completely unable to work, and there are many essential expenses not covered by insurance, such as medications outside of chemotherapy, rent, groceries, and other daily living costs.

This is why I am reaching out for help.

Any donation, $5, $10 no matter the amount, would mean the world to me and help ease the burden during this difficult time. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing my story with others would also make a HUGE difference!

All funds raised will go directly toward expenses such as medications, housing, food, tuition and basic needs during my recovery. If there are any remaining funds after I have fully recovered and am cancer-free, they will be donated to cancer research to help others facing similar battles.
