On the 3rd of November, our team will be taking on an incredible 100km international cross-border challenge from France to The Netherlands raising money for ReMind UK - an internationally renowned research and treatment centre, providing vital support to their families, carers, and funding essential research for those affected by dementia.

Other members of the team are running the extra distance by taking part in the Bath Half Marathon taking place on the 15th March 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to match the kilometres that are decided by the amount we fundraise.

This cause is especially close to our hearts, one of our team members recently lost her grandad who suffered with dementia:

“My grandad was a loving husband, father and an inspiration to me. Even when he forgot where I went to university or how old I was, he never forgot how to laugh, smile, or love. Every week, he found joy and comfort at a dementia centre, where he could socialise, bond with others, take part in activities, and keep his brain stimulated. That centre gave us all something to look forward to. Support like that can make a world of difference to people like him, living with dementia. ReMind UK helps make similar opportunities possible for others like him, while also funding vital research to understand better.”

To raise funds for ReMind UK, we’ll be completing a sponsored 100km walk, starting in Dunkirk, France, travelling along the Belgian coast, and finishing in Cadzand, Netherlands. For every £10 raised, we’ll walk an extra kilometre, on top of the 100km journey.

More than 55 million people around the world are currently living with dementia — a number expected to triple by 2050. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ReMind UK continue supporting people affected by dementia and fund the research that can change lives.
