Thank you for stopping by my fundraising page to support my goal to raise $1,800 more dollars by 4/09/16 towards my international travel this summer, ACT prep and a couple of college tours too...all through the Kappa Leadership Institute!!
I believe that I'm not only prepared but will blossom to my full potential in the Kappa Leadership Institute's environment. I know that this program has contributed to my success academically at Whitney Young Magnet HS as well as highlighted the inclusive character of the man I'm becoming. As a graduate from Beasley Academic Center, their rigorous curriculum with its emphasis on Math and Science prepared me to pursue a career path of becoming an engineer. I excelled academically at Beasley and participated in the chess club, engineering club and student government to demonstrate my ability to function in a highly competitive environment.
For the past three years, I've sought out engineering programs at Purdue, attended a UIC Math and Science Camp and the Project SynCere Engineering program to show my drive and fortitude to stand out and become an exceptional scholar. As a junior at WY, I'm maintaining my Honors classes by employing the studying and discipline instilled through Kappa League and my family. I have recently been elected to represent my class at KLI for the third straight year. All while maintaining a weighted 4.3 gpa throughout high school.
Your $25 tax deductible donation goes a long way towards helping me raise $1,800 to travel internationally this spring with the KLI, prep for the ACT and go to Ghana this summer.
