Zimbabwe Mission

Hello,

My name is Elisha Ellison, I am reaching out to share an exciting opportunity God has placed before me, and I humbly ask for your support. This spring, I have been called to go on a mission trip to Harare, Zimbabwe, where I will be part of a team spreading the message of Christ’s love and serving the local community.

A little back story about me: I fell in love with Jesus Christ when he encountered me 3 years ago. At the time of the encounter with Jesus, I was in a dark place where the enemy had a tight grasp on me as I was battling addiction and mental health issues. Through the darkness the Lord continued to pursue me even when I wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. When I was at my breaking point and thought there was no other solution than death, that's when Jesus met me at my lowest point. Jesus gave me comfort when I felt completely alone and abandoned by the world. Jesus filled me with hope and joy when I was filled with anger and hatred.

Since the Lord delivered me through the darkest time of my life I feel called to pursue other the same way he pursued me, and that is why this missions trip means so much to me. My heart is deeply passionate about sharing the Gospel and serving those in need. On this trip, we will be involved in various ministry activities, including a kids vacation bible school, prayer ministry, evangelism as well as a worship conference aimed at equipping the church of Zimbabwe to steward the presence of God in worship.

In order to make this journey possible, I need to raise funds for the trip’s expenses, including travel, accommodation, supplies, and outreach costs. The total cost of the mission trip is $2,300 and I am trusting God to provide. I would be honored if you would consider supporting me financially to make this trip a reality. Any contribution, large or small, would be a tremendous blessing and will directly impact the lives of those we are ministering too.

I also ask for your prayers. This mission is not just a journey to a distant land but a spiritual endeavor where I really feel the Lord’s presence will be released in abundance. Your prayers for safety, strength, and that God’s will would be done in all aspects of the trip are deeply appreciated.
