A Healer's Request: Dr. Zee’s Urgent Quest for Medical Intervention
Dr. Zeeyon Walker—known to her community as Dr. Zee—has dedicated her entire career to healing others. As a respected psychologist and tireless community healer/restorer, she has been a lifeline for the vulnerable: providing pro-bono mental health services, leading organizational boards, and developing vital youth empowerment projects that directly combat violence and systemic disparities.

Now, this dedicated healer is fighting for her own life against two agonizing diagnoses: Livedoid Vasculopathy (LV) and a Pituitary Adenoma.

The Agony and the Urgency
The greater threat is Livedoid Vasculopathy, a rare and merciless disease (affecting approximately 80,000 people annually) that causes relentless, crippling pain and a devastating loss of mobility. Of that 80,000, Dr. Zee is among the 17% who ALSO experience neuropathy. Despite exhaustive efforts, U.S. treatments have failed, leaving Dr. Zee's health in rapid decline and moving her quickly toward chronic disability.

The Last Hope: A Global Solution
Dr. Zee has identified her only viable path to recovery: specialized, integrated care at a leading Level III General Hospital in Beijing, China.
  • Level III means accredited by JCI Standards (meet top tier global medical requirements) and uniquely combines the best of Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
  • It offers the sole documented approach with the potential to significantly reduce her agonizing pain and slow the disease's devastating progression.

An Impossible Burden
This medical emergency strikes at the moment Dr. Zee is shouldering an impossible caregiving burden: she is the sole caregiver for her 86-year-old mother and her 82-year-old aunt with dementia. Compounding this crisis, her health decline has resulted in a devastating 75% reduction in her income.

The Ask
Dr. Zee must travel to Beijing immediately. The estimated medical treatment is a prohibitive $20,000. This does not account for additional expenses like travel and essential caregiver costs.

We must act now to restore Dr. Zee to the woman who is so special and important to so many people in her community.

Thank you sincerely for your compassion and generosity. Your support is more than a donation.
It is a blessing.
It is a prayer answered.
It is a message to Dr. Zee that she is not alone, that her community stands beside her, and that her story is far from over. Every contribution — no matter the size — becomes a seed of hope, a step toward healing, and a reminder that miracles often begin with people who care.

Sincerely,
Zee's Thrive Tribe
