After a difficult battle with a rare cancer, my mother, Mary Zappitelli passed away November 5, 2015. Mary was a very special teacher at Lake Catholic High School and touched the lives of so many. One of my mother's last wishes was to start a scholarship in her name for future Lake Catholic students. This scholarship was so important to her to ensure her legacy would continue on to enrich future generations. In addition to donating on the Lake Catholic web site we created this go fund me account in hopes to reach a greater audience through social media.
