Zane Family Home Lost in Carr Fire
Donation protected
I am Linda Kelsey of Evergreen Colorado and I am a mother and grandmother.
On July 23rd a small spark changed the lives of so many in my Hometown of Redding California. Last year our hearts were broken to see the devastation in Santa Rosa, California as the wild fires took so much from so many and now it has hit really close to my family. On July 24th my daughter and family were evacuated from their home in the middle of the night and forced to get out with only what they could carry at that moment. One July 25th they learned that their family home and my Son-in Law's manufacturing plant had been completely destroyed by the fire. As a family we are blessed and know that the Lord has a plan for our lives, but knowing how to start over and rise from the ashes is daunting. Tricia and Tobe are both self employed. So not only did they loose their home but Tobe's business also. The needs are many but funds to help them get through the next few weeks would be so helpful. My Grandson Jordan is leaving for College is San Diego in 3 weeks, My Elijah will start his Junior year in High School in 2 weeks, and my youngest Grandson Noah, who spent a month earlier helping Grandma and Grandpa deliver 15 puppies, will also be starting school soon. We will use the funds to prepare the boys for school and to help with temporary housing until Tobe can get his business running again.

Thank you for your prayers and if you want to contribute to my family we appreciate whatever you would like to give. But most of all please continue to pray for our family and all of the families affected by this terrible tragedy. There is also a community Go Fund Me Page for all those affected by the Carr Fire, which is only 5% contained and spread from 45,000 acres to 85,000 acres last night. Redding, California is a town of 92,000 and over 40,000 have been evacuated.
