I have set up this Go fund Me fundraising Page to ask for help in raising funds & awareness to help Us put up a reward so We may finally obtain Justice.
That is so people who have the cruicial information about My Father's Murder have the financial incentive to Speak out & come forward & break the wall of silence We have faced for many year's.
We need them to provide key Information to the Police in order to assist them secure the arrest & convictions of the Men responsible for His Murder.
My Father's name was Zafar Mehdi. He was a Hardworking community minded Man that helped others and worked as a Taxi driver He was well liked, respected & loved by all who knew Him.
He supported Us & He supported a large extended Family back In Pakistan. Sadly at the age of 44 My Father was brutally Beaten on the Head with a wooden club and then stabbed through the heart with a screwdriver to death at our home 20 Years ago, by two Men who barged in.
Sadly they have never been caught despite people talking 20 year's later about the reason why My Father was killed the Police have not done a thing.
His shocking death has left a big void in our immediate and extended family over in Punjab Pakistan, this terrible crime shattered us as a family.
Especially My late Grandmother who Passed away aged 82 Last Year In Pakistan. She relied heavily upon My Father, She outlived My Father by 19 Year's. She died as a Sad broken woman even when it became clear to Her She was dying She was still calling for My Father's killers to be brought to Justice.
To add Insult to Injury at the time, My Mother who witnessed the killing of My Father was then wrongfully accused of this terrible crime in what can only be described as a shambles of an investigation by the police and then a farce of a Trial that almost resulted in a massive miscarriage of Justice.
The Men who killed My Father almost got away with the perfect crime! Due to the blunders of the Police.
They've had 20 year's of freedom that they should never of had despite the Police having a name to go on in which My Father names a person on the 999 call with His dying words, these cruicial words My Father uttered were over looked by the Police they failed to call in the experts to examine exactly what He said.
It's almost as if My Father is now speaking from beyond the grave when We hear the 999 call. The answer to who killed Him was there from day one, He gave the police a name and the key to solving the Murder, sadly the this key piece of evidence was missed.
It was actually brought to light in court by Mother's defence team exactly what My Father was saying. We can clearly hear Him saying a name who was responsible.
The Police also have DNA evidence in the form of half a finger print and other DNA evidence to go on but they have done nothing to try to locate or bring these 2 men to justice with this key finger print and other evidence. Its now time that the full weight of the law be brought down on them and justice be served!
A full review of the case and Advancements in forensic technology Should be fully utilised & applied to apprehend the killers of My Father by the Police whatever the cost.
The American law enforcement agencies have the technology to find a match from half a finger print so Our Police must call on their American counterparts to utilise their technology to solve this case regardless of costs if our police haven't got that crucial technology.
We want to ask as a family Why are You the Police not interested in investigating My Father's death? Is it because He was a British Pakistani Man ? Doesn't His brutal murder mean a thing to You ? There are killers out their roaming freely due to Your mistakes in handling the case!
Or is it because of the Blunders You Made in the case falsely accusing My Mother ? We want to know? The Police need to Put it all Right in the name of Justice! You Must take action.
So please help Us call time on the undeserved freedom of those who killed My Father & those who instigated the conspiracy to kill Him by kindly helping us raise the funds for a reward for the people who know to come forward and speak out!
Whatever the final amount raised on this Go fund Me fundraiser will be paid to the Person/Persons who come forward to the Police with that crucial Information that secures the arrests and convictions of those responsible.
I will pay the final amount raised to them without prejudice even if they are relatives of the killers that tip of the Police on all those that were involved in the Killing of My Father.
