A piano for Zach

Remember those long little fingers we all oooh-ed and aaah-ed over when he was a baby?  Well, Zach has been composing piano tunes and learning familiar ones by ear ever since a nice man from the pancake shop gifted him with a free electric piano on the condition that he play it everyday.  Zach has kept up his end of the bargain and now it's time to reward his stick-to-it-iveness with a real upright piano! 

His beloved Mrs. Greenberg, music teacher at Sacramento Waldorf School, is finally retiring from her full time teaching position which means she has time to take Zach on as a student.  They are both very excited to finally start working together this summer. 

I thought it would be a nice idea to pool our resources as a family and get Zach a piano for his birthday so he'll have plenty of time to break it in before lessons start in June.  Are you in?  Donate whatever you can towards the cost of the piano, moving and tuning, lessons, and music books.
