My Son Zach Goodbody was in a mountain bike accident on mission trials Nov.25,2016 1 day after Thanksgiving, Zach and Chris headed out 5:30 a.m. to load the truck with their bikes, helmets and gear, they started their ride 7:30 on the trails, the ride was awesome until Zach was heading downhill cruzing 25-30 MPH hit a pot hole flipped off his bike hit a dirt wall landing him on the ground, he was fighting to take off his helmet, Chris called his Fiancee so he can tell her that he loved her and Sabrina (1 yr old daughter),
Chris called 911, life flight was dispatched to the sight, Santee fire fighters were jogging the trail,  they assisted to clamp him into life flights gurney, "a god send"  life flight Doc. said this is what it is going to feel like when we pick you up flexing his body for the lift. 

Laserated liver,  right lung calapsed, shattered right scapula, 8 broken ribs, 6 bones brokens on left wrist, 5 surgery's one every day.
He will be facing open heart surgery to close a hole in his heart  VSD soon, blood transfusions for 8 days. Trauma Doc's saved his life. He has spent 3 wks in trauma/ICU thank you for medical professionals.

We will use the funds to pay for medical bills
 as his Fiancee is his primary care provider as the rest of his family live out of state, 2 months ago he started a new job, he was to be married to his Fiancee on Dec.3,2016  plans were canceled.
His birthday is on New Years Eve what a blessing to have him many more years.
Celebrate life and every breath, he started breathing on his own Dec. 15 and is in recovery, he's a fighter, he wrote on a clip board as he could not talk he was on a breathing tube , "Lets get the show on the road" the trauma Doc. Said lets roll! She was amazed he could write in his condition. Dr. Wintz saved his life..
