Une maison adaptée pour Zacharie!!!

Bonjour, mon nom est Paul Couture et je suis le fière papa de Zacharie qui a 9 ans. À l'âge de 5 ans nous avons appris que Zach était atteint de dystrophie musculaire de Duchesne, maladie dégénérative des muscles. Zach a eu la chance de marcher jusqu'à 7 ans mais au moment où il a toucher son fauteuil roulant, il a très rapidement empiré et aujourd'hui il ne marche plus dutout. Avant il n'y avait qu'un fauteuil manuel dans sa vie mais depuis septembre est entré dans le décor un fauteuil électrique pesant 350lbs environ. Transporter Zacharie est difficile avec son fauteuil manuel alors imaginer que le nouveau il m'est impossible de le transporter. Nous avons besoin d'un véhicule adapté pour ce faire et pour cela nous demandons votre aide avec vos dons sur ce site...1 ou 2 ou 5 ou 20 ou plus... donnez ce que vous pouvez et ce dont votre coeur désire. Nous avons besoin aussi d adapter la maison pour aider pour le bain...la toilette et le lit. C'est incroyable le coût de ces adaptations et nous en avons vraiment besoin. SVP AIDEZ NOUS!!!!!!
Hi, my name is Paul Couture. I am the proud father of the young fellow you see on the picture, his name is Zacharie. Zach is now 9 years old and when he was 5, we were told he had a serious health problem that will degenerate over the years (muscular dystrophia of duchesne). Zach could walk until he was 7 and from then, he is in a wheelchair. For the last 2 years it was not so hard to carry him around but it is getting very difficult as he is growing and getting heavier. We have been trying to get help from government and they said nothing is available before another 3 1/2 years. We tried with banks but since there is no guaranties on loans like that... they refused all help. We can t wait any longer to get those adaptations because it is getting harder to get him on the toilet or even to get him in the bath. If we want to take him out to the restaurant or the movies it is really tough because I have to load his wheelchair by hands, now that he has an electric wheelchair, he has to leave it in school because it weighs 350 pounds!!! To go around with his electric wheelchair brings a lot of autonomy to Zach and the smile he has when he is on it is priceless!!! To see my son happy is the most important thing in my life and since I'm not able to do it alone, this is why I am asking your help. We will as soon as we have the adaptation set up in the house, I'll post videos and pictures of Zach using it and smiling at you to thank you for every donations you made, as small or big as you can afford to do, it will help!!! Same for the van, you will see Zach getting on board of it and me beeing really happy to bring my son everywhere I go.
