Hello my name is ZaKira Moody. I hope you will assist me with my immediate need before departing Jun 22nd. I am one of 25 selected from 800 talents in the DC area to participate in the Launch Showcase in Chicago, Illinois, June 23rd through June 25th, 2017.
By participating in this event, I will have the opportunity to lay the foundation to reach my goals. My hope is to acquire representation to direct my career as an actress, singer, dancer, and model. I will perform in front of nearly 100 big names in the business all at once. I have chosen to participate in the TV & Film showcase to demonstrate my acting with emotion, flow, and enunciation and the Singer showcase to present my unique singing tone, clarity, and consistency.
The Launch Showcase has helped many talents get to where they are today:
• Birgundy Angel Baker who appeared in Chicago PD and Empire
• Mijon Zulu who acts, sings, dances and acts with BMG Model and Talent Agency
• And many more
You may not recognize those names yet, but I hope to have my name on that success list one day.
For this trip to happen, a flight would be great, but the flying budget is not realistic for my immediate family of four so … on the road again! I need a little help to make a regular road trip more comfortable for my mother who is undergoing medical treatment. With your help, my much-needed motherly support will be with me in Chicago. She has been such a large part in my development and encouragement to pursue my dreams (my father and sister too). Ideally, an RV would be PERFECT, but time is short. Your contributions will help defer the costs of van rental, hotel stay on the 20-24 hour roundtrip (with frequent rest/stretch stops), host hotel stay and meals.
