TUITION IS PAID, THANK YOU SO MUCHHH!!!
Hello! My name is Yvianick Saint-Vil, and I am a graduating senior BFA Musical Theatre major at the illustrious Howard University in DC. I am thrilled to share that I have been accepted into the prestigious Black British Theatre Program at the British American Drama Academy (BADA) in London this summer. This opportunity will allow me to immerse myself in intensive training with esteemed theatre professionals, expand my artistic horizons, and deepen my understanding of Black theatre on a global scale. However, in order to participate, I need to raise $3,000 to cover travel, and living expenses.
Throughout my time at Howard I have honed my craft, performed in professional and academic productions, and uplifted my community through my artistic endeavors. As a first-generation college student, I have successfully maintained a 3.9 GPA, while balancing leadership roles, such as serving as an alto section leader in the Howard University Community Choir, a social media chair for the Haitian Student Association, an administrative assistant for the Musical Theatre Department, and more. I have also had the privilege of performing in productions such as The Color Purple at Signature Theatre and Broadway Our Way at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. Beyond performance, I have interned and worked with arts organizations such as the Creative Arts Workshop in Nyack, NY to inspire the next generation of artists.
As I embark on my journey into the performing arts industry, attending the Black British Theatre Program will not only refine my skills, but also position me to make a lasting impact by advocating for diverse narratives and increasing representation in the performing arts. This is where I need your support. I am seeking donors and sponsors who believe in my mission and want to invest in my artistic journey. Thank you in advance for your financial contribution and for seeing this Bison off to impact the world. Please feel free to share this with anyone you believe can support me in this post-grad transition.
With immense gratitude,
Yvianick Saint-Vil
