Yuba Libre Inc. is non profit community land project that sits on a ridge overlooking the south fork of the Yuba River in Nevada County, CA. We steward 30 acres of undeveloped and ecologically significant land using a combination of western and traditional knowledge.
Our goals are:
- to care and protect the land for future generations
- to providing education about the Yuba watershed and sustainable use
- to manage a gorgeous refuge where collaborative meals, river hikes, vast sunsets, and shared labor nurture the potential for deeper connections and solidarity with all our human and nonhuman relations.
