Seeking your Help to Evacuate My Family from Gaza!

Help Yousef and her family to get out of Gaza. , Yousef Alsweisi, is asking for support to gather enough funds to secure a safe passage from the besieged Gaza Strip. Yousef's family had been living in Gaza City until they were ordered to evacuate in the middle of October. So far they have been displaced 15 times, The last displaced was 1 day ago from Rafah ( 10/05/2024 ), now ending up in a Another tent in another place, where basic life necessities are lacking. With every passing day, the fear of another displacement gets closer with no safe area to move to.

Hello, I am Doctor Yousef Alswaisi from Palestine (GAZA), I am 26 years old .

I am writing this after lots of thought and hesitation. But the urgency and need to rescue my family is greater than my resilience, and I am Fundraising to help my family live a good life!

I am desperately seeking your generous support to help me evacuate my family (parents, 4 sisters 2 brothers, and Me) from Gaza.

I worked at Al Shifa Hospital and I was among the last ones to evacuate it, I’ve been volunteering in the different remaining hospitals since then in Khan Yunis. I am dedicated to staying here and saving lives in Gaza, but now I’ve come to a point where I’m desperate and I URGENTLY and humbly ask you to help me save my family’s life by getting them out of Gaza since there’s no SAFE place in Gaza due to slow deaths by hunger, dehydration, displacement, the spreading of illnesses and the ongoing bombings. Choosing to leave is a very painful decision to make, but the situation has become untenable.

My family had two houses.

But They demolished the house!

with the furniture inside and I found my cat ( Kiwi ) under the rubble and the occupation killed her!

We are now homeless like many others due to the ongoing bombings in Gaza since October 7th. My family was displaced 10 times and since I didn’t want to flee to the South with them and leave all those injured patients behind, I decided to stay and volunteer in the hospital while not being sure if they made it safely to the South or if I’d ever hear from them again.

‏We are sheltering hundreds of displaced

‏families for the last 5 months at a school that’s now a community refuge for thousands of people trapped in the south. Women and children sleep inside classrooms and the men sleep outside in tents set up in the courtyard. Rainstorms recently have flooded our tents and it's very difficult to take care of our basic needs

The nightmare began on the morning of October 7, 2023

In a flash, we were surrounded by an army of mercenaries.

The trip was when we miraculously left by ambulance to Al-Shifa Medical Hospital in Gaza, and it was our first night outside our house full of memories. We slept on the hospital tiles among the wounded and martyrs, between terror and destruction.

We hope for any truce or ceasefire to occur. We hope to return.

Now we hope to escape death, we hope for the end of the war, we hope to leave the Gaza Strip, and we hope to live a decent life away from bombing, occupation, and destruction.

It’s been 6 months of hell and horror. This genocide has been too long to bear, and our mental health and lives are in constant danger. (I can’t describe enough what I have been dealing with daily in the hospitals for the past 155 days, We have reached a point where there is no hope left for us here in Gaza where we are unfortunately just waiting for our turn to die and even if there is a ceasefire, the destruction in Gaza is beyond prompt repair.

‏Evacuation fees are really expensive, especially now that I have no source of income. Once we can evacuate, your donations will cover our travel expenses and help us get immediate support in Egypt. There will be meal expenses, wardrobe expenses, emergency expenses, etc but no generous contribution will go to waste

To cross the “Rafah” Gaza-Egypt Borders you need to have your name listed in the Crossing List (paid permit) and coordinators in Egypt who have the power to add my family’s names to the list at the border are now asking for anywhere from 6-8,000$ per PERSON! They will not add the names until we can prove we have the money ready.

Please help me get them out, I will sincerely appreciate any donation, even small ones that will make a significant difference in alleviating our suffering.
