On October 31st, my mother, Suzanne, was hit head-on by a drunk driver while taking her special-needs son to a Halloween event in Petaluma, CA. The driver fled the scene before my mother was taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the driver was arrested days later, but unfortunately, it couldn't have come at a worse time while bills are piling up, transportation is limited, and the insurance process will be lengthy and precarious.

My family and those who care about Suzanne are starting a GoFundMe to pool together resources to:

A. Be able to get her a "beater car" to get by

B. Secure an injury lawyer to see this process through

C. Anything remaining will go towards paying off her 2023 car, which got wrecked, still owing a ton of money on it, and the first unused car she's purchased since becoming a parent to me and my three siblings 30 years ago. This was her treat to herself and her 'baby,' and it's gone.
