PLEASE HELP someone in Need
Donation protected
We are raising money for a 57 year old women, who was Diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer back in Nov 2013. She has no family or close relatives in Canada and her parents are in Iran but they are too old and she has not even told them about her situation to not cause them any grief.
This is very heartbreaking story as she is an very independent successful lady, who has been a Vancouver resident for the past 35 years. She has owned a hair salon for more than 20 years in downtown Vancouver. Unfortunately, during her cancer treatments and recovery she has lost her business and her home.
She is now living in a small studio provided by BC housing that is located on the top floor of a shelter. We are hoping that BC housing will be able to find a permanent place for her to live soon.
Fortunately, she does her best to have a good spirit and to be in a good shape physically and we are praying that she gets through this and will be able to start a new life again. A few of you are already aware of this sad situation and have offered to help. If you are still willing, please make donations here.
She is in desperate need so any donation, no matter how small will be of great help.
It has taken me a long time to get to this step. She is not comfortable taking help from anyone as her pride gets the best of her. I have explained to her that people who don't even know her want to help in any way possible. We are all one big family and must help each other in need when these unfortunate times are upon us. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me via Facebook, email, text, or phone. I hope all of us together can make a difference for this lady.
Thank you for all your support and donations Maryam Collahi [email redacted] [phone redacted]
